As I mentioned in part 1 of this subject, many cultures had gods that personified certain aspects of the world such as thunder, war, and fear.
What intangible issues have you been facing? The gods of this world may not be controlling every lightning bolt or forcing everyone to be afraid of public speaking, spiders, and flying. However, the rebellious spiritual forces are in opposition to our Creator God. Everything they do aims to turn people away from the fact that Jesus Christ has victory over the enemies of love, peace, and joy.
Instead of needing a personification for good intangible traits like peace, Jesus perfectly personifies everything good and holy. He not only personified it, He is the Prince of Peace. He is Love. In His presence is fullness of Joy.
When we recognize our mandate to be the hands and feet of God, we can see how He gives us strength to personify all of the good things while we are here living in the world. We are now called to be disciples of Christ and carry on the personification of everything that He gives us through the Holy Spirit. The Kingdom includes righteousness, peace, and joy, so as we live life, we are called to personify those Kingdom attributes as we pray to the Father that His “Kingdom come as earth as it is in Heaven.”
I pray that you don’t experience many “intangible” issues. However, I recognize that many people do experience difficulties that are not easily solved with tangible solutions like medication and money. If you or someone you know is going through something related to an “intangible” aspect of life, please recognize that the ultimate personification of love, peace, and joy, Christ Jesus, wants to be you “intangible” solution. You will find that He not only interacts with people in a spiritual “intangible” way, but also often with our tangible senses. Then, you will experience His love and perhaps be a “tangible” solution for someone else needing victory in the same situation!
